The closest airport to the Outer Banks is Norfolk International Airport (ORF) in Virginia - from ORF, it’s about an hour-and-a-half drive to the OBX.
Alternative Airports are Pitt-Greenville (PGV) in Greenville, North Carolina - PGV is about two hours + 15 minutes drive to OBX.
Driving to Outer Banks, North Carolina
The main point of entry to the Outer Banks is Rt. 158, which brings you into OBX between the Duck and Kitty Hawk beaches. Rental houses & wedding events will be in this general area so that everyone’s travel time is more convenient ♡
If you fly into Pitt-Greenville (PGV) in Greenville, North Carolina - PGV, you will come in on US-64 across the island of Manteo.
Rental Cars
Consider Renting through Turo! We love Turo and have had great experiences renting through them in multiple cities. Their inventory is always a wide range and are generally priced better than standard rental car agencies (includes insurance).

Stays
We have booked the big house in Duck, which will serve as the central meeting point before the ceremony and also where we will host drinks after dinner. We recommend staying in the general Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk area!
